A física no novo ensino médio e o currículo do Piauí

Abstract

The research addresses the changes that occurred in Physics in the New High School (NEM) with a focus on the curriculum in Piauí. It makes an overview of the processes of changes that occurred over the decades and analyzes the structure of the legal documents that govern Brazilian education with regard to the reform of the curricular proposal for secondary education in Brazil with the Base Nacional Curricular Comum (BNCC) and in the Piauí. The qualitative bibliographical and documentary research has reference authors in the curriculum (Arroyo, Sacristán and Santomé), lists scientific productions on the subject and analyzes the Curriculum of the State of Piauí in the teaching of Physics. The study outlines a brief historical context about the curriculum and the trajectory of the Base and its impacts on the teaching of Physics, taking the Piauí Curriculum as a sample and the results of the research carried out as practices. It registers some challenges for Physics professionals in terms of guaranteeing spaces in the curriculum, in relation to working conditions, training that guarantee coherent performance and brings reflections on the career of the Physics professional in the awareness that the curriculum is a space of disputes
